The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
Habit 1: Be Proactive
“Habit 1 is the key to unlocking all the other habits and that’s why it comes first. It says, “I am the captain of my life. I can choose my attitude. I’m responsible for my own happiness or unhappiness. I am in the driver’s seat of my destiny, not just a passenger.”
Reflection:
I believe that this is a great habit because you are responsible for what you want to become in life. You choose what you want to do whether it’s for the better or worst. Things you do might seem like a easy way but every effect has a consequence.
Quote:
“Recast your current problems into proactive goals.
Suze Orman”

Habit 2: Begin with the end of mind
“Control your own destiny or someone else will.” –Jack Welch
Reflection:
I don’t even know what this means…
Quote:
“It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.”
-William Shakespeare

Three fundamental techniques in handling people
T1: Don’t criticize, condemn or complain
“If you want honey don’t kick over the beehive.”
1)      I don’t get it.
2)      “Never complain and never explain.”
-Benjamin Disrael
3)

4)      What I will do is try to stop complaining.
Technique 2: Give honest and sincere appreciation
“The big secret in dealing with people”
Reflection:
When you give people honest opinions they will appreciate it more than a lie. Give your honest opinion but don’t be a prick about it if you don’t like things.
Quote:
“Honesty and loyalty are key. If two people can be honest with each other about everything, that's probably the biggest key to success.“
Taylor Lautner

Technique 3: Arouse in the other person an eager want.
"He who can do this has the whole world with him. He who can't, walk a lonely way."
Reflection:
I don't know what this means...

Winter Break Days

Over the winter break I spent a lot of time with my girlfriend, I practically lived at her house. I went bowling for the first time with my girlfriend and her friend; I was actually very good to my surprise. We went to Little Tokyo a lot as well because my girlfriend really enjoys Ramen and there is a good Ramen place named Orochon that she likes to go to. We also went bowling a second time as well. I wasn’t very good that timeL.  During the break I also found out that Lemmy Kilmister on December 28th. It’s sad that he need he really is a Heavy metal Legend now. He dead at 70 years old. It was also my 18th birthday over the break. Just yesterday I went on a DTLA century (100+ miles) ride. It was fun I met a lot of new people. Also yesterday was my girlfriend’s niece’s birthday and we celebrated that at Chuck E. Cheese.
